As a HSE Manager at Jacobs, you will provide HSE support and leadership for Life Sciences projects in Cary, NC, working with project and construction management teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading HSE excellence and driving continuous improvement.
• Supporting incident notification, investigation, and reporting processes.
• Developing project‑specific HSE plans and reviewing subcontractor hazard assessments.
• Collaborating with LOB HSE directors and construction teams to maintain compliance.
• Travel within the mid‑Atlantic region and potentially across the US as required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years construction HSE experience with employee management.
• Experience delivering safety training, toolbox talks, and outreach coaching.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulatory compliance.
• Professional HSE certification and/or degree in safety, industrial hygiene, engineering or related field (equivalent experience acceptable).
• OSHA 30 Hour Training (construction) or 500, 501 preferred.
• Experience in Life Sciences construction projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Teams, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication skills and self‑directed work ability.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
