Shift Requirements

Monday‑Friday, Second/Third Shift (after onboarding/training)

Responsibilities
  • Servicing CT/MR imaging equipment in the Houston area.
  • Installing, troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventative maintenance on all Siemens Healthcare systems at customer sites with minimal supervision.
  • Delivering timely and effective repairs and training operators to ensure optimal system performance, resulting in superior customer satisfaction.
  • Managing financial performance within the territory, meeting or exceeding revenue generation, expense control and inventory management objectives.
  • Ensuring tool and test equipment expiration dates are managed and documented on eFSR, with no overdue calibration.
  • Managing company assets including a company car, cell phone, computer, tools and inventory parts.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong business relationships with customers and peers, and performing required administrative duties accurately.
  • Providing mentoring to other CSEs on all competencies and responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance and modifications on medical imaging equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience testing, repairing and maintaining capital medical equipment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, and perform administrative duties accurately.
Required Skills
  • Minimum high school diploma; technical Associate’s Degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Proficient in use of tools and service test equipment, working individually or in a team.
  • Proficiency in network applications and tools (e.g., eVO, mButler, MS Office, Concur, NAM Customer Service website – Engineer Tools).
  • Ability to locate, read, and understand documents for installation, set‑up, repair, troubleshooting, schematics, block diagrams and functional descriptions.
  • 5–7 years’ experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments.
  • Valid driver’s license, ability to drive independently day and night, with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs (floor to above waist/head); frequent walking, ladder/step‑stool climbing, bending, twisting, squatting, standing and working at high reach.
  • Fine grasp manipulation and good vision required; ability to work alone.
Compensation and Benefits

Base Pay Range:
Min $74,300 – Max $111,460. Commission may apply for a commission‑eligible position in accordance with company plan. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long‑term/short‑term disability, paid parking/public transportation, paid time off, paid sick and other paid leave.
