We are currently seeking a BE/BC sleep medicine physician to join the Wake Med sleep medicine division located in Cary, NC. The Wake Med sleep medicine division is recruiting to support further growth.

The ideal candidate would be a current sleep medicine fellow physician who is comfortable and excited about practicing 100% comprehensive sleep medicine including treatment of central sleep apnea (both off-label and on-label treatment options), treatment of restless legs with augmentation including iron infusions, and an interest in treating sleep apnea with devices including hypoglossal nerve stimulators and phrenic nerve stimulators.

• Practice 100% comprehensive sleep medicine including treatment of central sleep apnea and restless legs with augmentation.
• Treat sleep apnea with devices including hypoglossal nerve stimulators and phrenic nerve stimulators.
• Collaborate with pediatric sleep medicine program where possible; potential for expansion with satellite clinics in the future.
• Read and interpret sleep studies with a balanced distribution between clinic time and sleep study interpretation.
• Share sleep lab call and participate in the sleep lab leadership alongside management and direction of the sleep lab.
• Supervise APPs as part of the standard contract for physicians.

• BE/BC in Sleep Medicine
• Fellowship/Internship/Residency in related area; experience preferred
• Licensed Medical Physician and Board Certification in Area of Practice
