Hygiene Assistant

We are a premier dental practice in Cary, NC, specializing in prosthodontics and providing exceptional patient care with a focus on advanced restorative treatments. Our team is dedicated to creating beautiful, functional smiles using the latest technology and techniques in prosthodontics.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hygiene Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience assisting with complex restorative and prosthodontic procedures, be proficient in digital workflows, and have a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

• Assist dentists and hygienists with patient care, procedures, and chairside support
• Complete chart notes as needed
• Take and process digital X-rays with accuracy and efficiency
• Support sterilization processes, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols
• Assist Patient Care Coordinators by preparing treatment areas, gathering supplies, and optimizing patient flow
• Provide patient education and post-treatment instructions
• Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, and well-stocked
• Help with front office tasks as needed, such as sending supporting notes and documents to referring offices
• Adapt to additional responsibilities as required to ensure smooth clinic operations

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Dental Assistant certification, preferred.
• X-ray certification, preferred.
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• A team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
