Customer Service Representative at Mc Kesson
Pay Rate: 20.40/hr
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 11:30 am - 8:00 pm with a rotating Saturday shift from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm every 6-8 weeks. This is an onsite role for at least the first 90 days, with potential for a hybrid arrangement (2 days in office and 3 days at home) based on attendance and performance.

- Serve as the primary resource for inbound telephone calls to minimize workflow interruptions due to non-clinical inquiries (e.g., general prescription status or financial information).
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to schedule medication delivery and payments, ensuring accurate information is recorded in the profile for timely package delivery.
- Directly respond to customer inquiries or route calls to appropriate staff to ensure prompt resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Update concise progress notes to allow other roles to quickly assess status of referrals.
- Provide customer service through management information systems to answer questions regarding refills, status of prescriptions (pending/shipped), verify insurance information, and provide copies of invoices upon request.
- Answer patient questions during refill scheduling and transfer to clinical team pharmacists and nurses when appropriate.
- Identify and report adverse events (AEs) and product complaints (PCs) to clinicians to ensure patient safety.
- Excellent communication skills; basic problem-solving abilities.
- Typing speed of at least 35 wpm.
- At least 1 year of high-volume call center experience.
- Experience level:
Entry Level.
