PM​/Field Operations Internship

Brief Description

Job Summary:

Assist with coordinating and supervising construction work for quality and timely delivery of a project.

• Assist in preparing work schedules and assignments.
• Assist in communicating and enforcing safety procedures.

• Assist with scheduling subcontractors and inspections.
• Assist in verifying and maintaining quality of work.
• Assist in verifying and maintaining safe job site and safety compliance of subcontractors.
• Assist with daily/weekly communication with subcontractors, Project Managers, Bobbitt team members and owners.
• Attend and participate in all job-related meetings
• Complete detailed daily job logs as directed by Manager
• Complete daily safety checklist as directed by Manager Complete daily photos as directed by Manager
• Complete Toolbox talks weekly as directed by Manager
• Any other assigned duties.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to oversee and coordinate a variety of people in different roles.
• Extremely detail-oriented.
• Ability to read, understand, and execute blueprints, drawings, and plans.
• An understanding of legal requirements relating to construction and building sites.
• An understanding of quality building practices.
• Ability to quickly identify problems and efficiently solve them.

• In the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred.

• Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the construction site in all types of weather.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
