Key Responsibilities
  • Own construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget
  • Develop, deploy, train, and support standardized project management methodologies
  • Define project scope, roles, responsibilities, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Act as the owner’s representative during construction meetings and site visits
  • Track project progress, risks, issues, and variances; provide regular status and site visit reports
  • Review contractor schedules, pay applications, submittals, and proposed subcontractors
  • Identify issues early and drive resolution through appropriate escalation and change control processes
  • Enforce effective change management to prevent scope creep and minimize change orders
  • Maintain detailed project documentation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Promote collaboration and effective communication among internal teams, contractors, and vendors
  • Apply lessons learned from prior projects to improve future project outcomes
Reporting Relationship
  • Reports to the Construction Program and Team Manager
Qualifications
  • Over 5 years of construction project management experience on complex projects
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Required Skills & Knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of PMBOK and project management best practices
  • Experience developing and managing project plans using MS Project and related tools
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
  • Strong experience with project metrics, reporting, and trend analysis
  • Ability to assess scope changes and communicate impacts to budget, schedule, and risk
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with MS Project, Visio, CAD, and CAFM systems
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments
