We're looking for an experienced and collaborative Construction Floor Lead Superintendent in Clayton/Cary, NC, who thrives when people are in sync and construction projects are running like they should. You'll take the lead on daily scheduling and planning activities at the project site, and ensure the right materials, equipment and people are there to get the job done. Most importantly, you'll take action to ensure the safety, health and well-being of your team and our planet.

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
- At least 10 years of construction site experience
- 10 years of experience as a general foreman, superintendent, and/or construction manager
- Demonstrated working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building required
- Lead or participate in weekly safety observations and audits per the project HSE program and daily monitor site activities for program conformance, quality construction, damages, cleanliness, and productivity
- Participate in construction sequencing coordination planning, management, and execution as required for the project through completion of construction
- Monitor productivity and progress against the project schedule ensuring the contract plans are executed to make the progress required to meet the schedule
- Coordinate, review, and oversee schedule updates provided by the assigned contractors evaluating weekly look-ahead schedules and manpower plans and lead recovery plans as required
- Manage and monitor craft staffing levels for assigned contracts, compare to contractor's manpower forecasts
- Lead or participate in weekly safety walks with trade partners and the owner
Ideally, you'll also have:
- Basic knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems, architectural systems, clean room knowledge a plus, and general building construction & maintenance
- Knowledge and experience with implementation of LEAN strategies and technologies in project execution, including;
Last Planner System (LPS), 5S Construction and off-site manufacturing (OSM) construction.
- Basic knowledge in construction project sequencing and ability to utilize 3D technologies such as BIM
360, REVIT or other.
