Reports to: Store Manager, Assistant Manager

Lead Our Cashier Team: Supervise and train cashiers to ensure they consistently provide excellent customer service and represent our brand with pride.

Master Cash Operations: Oversee all cash handling activities including opening and closing registers, counting cash, and reconciling discrepancies with precision and accuracy.

Ensure Policy Compliance: Make sure all cashiers adhere to our cash handling and cash register policies and procedures, maintaining the highest standards of operation.

Deliver Amazing Service: Provide exceptional customer service by personally assisting customers with purchases and inquiries, creating memorable experiences.

Maintain Excellence: Keep our checkout area clean, organized, and professional while resolving customer issues in a timely and professional manner.

Drive Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with management and corporate office to enhance processes and procedures related to our checkout operations.

Stay Current: Maintain awareness of all active promotions and advertisements to maximize customer satisfaction and sales opportunities.

Support Operations: Participate in inventory management activities as needed to keep our store running smoothly.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of cash handling or cash register experience
• Previous experience as lead cashier or supervisor preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven ability to train and supervise associates effectively
• Exceptional problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues professionally and efficiently
• Sharp attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of hardware and home improvement products a plus
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
