The Role:

As the Former, you will prepare and set up fixtures for the forming & bending of elements or steel tubes with the use of blueprints.

Your Responsibilities:

* Prepare form fixtures

* Prepare bend fixtures/tooling

* Install, form, complete elements per mold

* Transfer completed formed elements to foundry/stock area

* Use of sandblaster

* Quality inspection with electrical equipment and devices

* May be assigned additional tasks as needed.

Our Requirements:

* High School Diploma or GED preferred

* Ability to use hand tools (i.e., pneumatic, wrenches, hammers, chisels)

* Ability to read calipers, scales, rulers and blueprints

* Understand thread sizes and diameters

* Read and interpret prints

* Basic computer aptitude with Excel

* Work fairly independently or under minimal supervision of the Team Lead

* Experience using overhead cranes a plus

Pay Range: $17.00 - $17.51
