Description
ET Kid Zone is a before and after school program operated by the Cary Park District and held at Cary School District 26 Elementary schools. The program is open Monday through Friday, during the school year, and work hours are 6:45-8:45am and 3:15-6:00pm.
We are currently seeking individuals for the Morning Shift, 6:45am-8:45am Monday-Friday. Flexible scheduling is available.
The Site Staff position is responsible for the following:
- Leading and assisting with recreation activities in the before and/or after school program setting
- Active engagement with children in the program
- Supervision and safety of children in the program
- Effective communication with ET Kid Zone staff, parents, and school administration (written and verbal)
- Free individual Community Center fitness pass and/or Sunburst Bay Aquatic Center pass during employment.
- Discount on programs and rentals for the employee, spouse, and dependents based on length of service.
- Experience in activity leadership and working with groups of children
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain
- Must be at least 16 years old
