Valid Driver's License & Clean Driving Record
We are hiring a Service Technician to travel to customer sites for portable building delivery, setup, and installation. This hands-on role requires mechanical skills, physical capability, and willingness to travel.
What You'll Do:
- Travel to customer work sites for portable building installations
- Assist delivery drivers with unloading and positioning structures
- Set up, level, and secure portable buildings on-site
- Install steps, ramps, tie-downs, and accessories
- Inspect buildings for transport damage and document conditions
- Perform minor repairs and adjustments
- Maintain tools and equipment
- Complete installation paperwork and daily reports
- Provide professional customer service on-site
- Valid driver's license (MUST have)
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record - no major violations (MUST have)
- Ability to travel 50-75% with possible overnight stays
- Lift 50+ lbs regularly and work outdoors in all weather
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Hand and power tool experience
- Reliable transportation to shop/staging area
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Construction or installation experience
- Portable building/modular structure experience
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel for extended periods
- Work outdoors in heat, cold, and rain
- Climb ladders and work at heights
- Lift and carry heavy materials
