As a Team Leader, you will lead a customer-centric team, manage a single tax office, and help accelerate seasonal tax business growth. Your role includes leadership, development of associates, ensuring excellent client service, and meeting growth objectives. You will also enhance your tax knowledge and serve as a resource on tax topics.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Multi-unit management experience in retail, restaurant, banking, or related industries
- 2+ years as a Tax Professional
Responsibilities include:
- Partnering with the District General Manager on growth plans
- Recruiting and interviewing candidates
- Handling escalated client concerns
- Scheduling and conflict resolution
- Leading daily team activities and meetings
- Creating work schedules and managing timekeeping
- Preparing tax returns as needed
- Conducting performance reviews and resolving associate issues
Required skills and experience:
- Customer service or shift leadership experience
- People management experience
- Completion of H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course
- Continuing education compliance
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Independent work ability
- Customer-centric, resilient, and determined mindset
- Flexible work schedule
- High school diploma or higher
