An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Clerk Receptionist to join our admin team in the Dental Hospital.

Main duties of the jobWorking on an Outpatient Reception area within the Dental Hospital, check patients in for appointments and schedule new appointments. Answer a high volume of telephone calls. Ensure all patient notes are available for their appointments. Provide administrative support to the service.

Person specification QualificationsEssential criteria
- GCSE in English Grade C or equivalent
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
Desirable criteria
- ECDL
- RSA 1 or 2 or equivalent
Essential criteria
- Very good keyboard skills
- Good communication, organisational skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Good interpersonal skills
- Able to prioritise workload
- Excellent telephone manner
Essential criteria
- Previous experience in a customer care role within an office based environment

- Working within NHS or hospital environment
