Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Engineer to ensure our products and processes meet established standards of quality, including reliability, usability, and performance. The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement and support compliance with industry and customer requirements. The Quality engineer will be responsible for organizing the development of new product quality plans, formulating and revising various inspection standards and inspection work documents related to the products.

The Quality Engineer will offer solutions for various quality issues and suggest corrective and preventive measures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance systems and procedures.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Analyze quality performance data and generate regular reports.
  • Support internal and external audits (ISO, customer-specific).
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Review specifications and technical documents to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Manage documentation such as quality manuals, inspection procedures, and control plans
  • Responsible for organizing the drafting and improvement of quality supervision and quality management documents.
  • Organize and carry out quality statistics work.
  • Responsible for proposing handling opinions on returned products, recycled products, and unqualified products, and for tracking and managing them.
  • Collect relevant quality information as well as related receptions, investigations, and responses regarding quality. Improve quality control based on customer feedback.
  • Preside over the management of product quality archives, documents, and materials.
  • Responsible for organizing the assessment, statistics, summary, and reporting of the company's product quality indicators.
  • Organize quality control plans based on the overall quality status of the company and promote relevant departments to solve problems in a timely manner, monitoring product quality throughout the process.
  • Responsible for organizing investigations into quality accidents and statistics, tracking and analyzing quality issues to provide information for improving processes and management.
  • Participate in quality control for the trial production of new products; participate in the review of new processes, technologies, and materials, providing opinions on their production feasibility, organizing the development of new product quality management plans, and monitoring their implementation.
  • Organize and carry out SPC and MSA work at key inspection points, analyze process capability, implement quality improvements, and compile and analyze quality daily reports.
  • Participate in analyzing the root causes of failures in the final product and process products, and propose improvement plans.
  • Responsible for organizing quality standard training for operators and inspectors, and supervising, guiding, and checking the implementation of training plans in various departments.
  • Responsible for the preparation of materials for monthly, quarterly, and annual quality analysis meetings, and assist the quality manager in organizing these meetings.
  • Master the analysis and reporting of product quality information. Analyze non-conforming data and propose corrective and preventive measures for products, processes, workshops, and teams with exceedances in non-conformance rates.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field)

3 plus years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of training on quality management, quality inspection, QC methods, SPC, CP, MSA, FMEA, MINITAB, Six Sigma, 8D, ISO 9001 or IATF
16949.

2 plus years of experience in component product manufacturing

2 plus years of experience as a quality engineer, and the understanding of various quality statistical analysis tools.

Solar Industry Experience is a plus.

Must possess strong leadership, judgment and decision-making abilities, communication skills, influence, as well as planning and execution capabilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work is typically performed indoors and outdoors. Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand for long periods
