Correct Health currently has a full-time night shift opportunity to join our growing team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Cartersville, GA.
Base rate plus an additional $6/hr differential for all hours worked between 11p and 7a.
ResponsibilitiesThe Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) participates in the clinical aspects of patient care with all members of the healthcare team and law enforcement. Performs duties under the supervision of the RN, HSA, Mid Level Provider, Physician, or the administrative supervision of the HSC. Maintains knowledge and ability to provide quality care as well as respond to needs within the correctional environment.
Maintains standards and ethics of nursing in accordance with the applicable State Board of Nursing and other accrediting agencies.
Requirements:
- Graduate from a national or state approved school of nursing program.
- Hold and maintain a current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of employment.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Corrections experience is a plus.
