Description
Trinity Rail Maintenance Services is searching for a talented team player to fill the open position of Production Scheduler in our Cartersville, GA manufacturing facility! Join our team today and be a part of Delivering Goods for the Good of All!
What you'll do:- Promote alignment by understanding and communicating customer needs and requirements throughout the maintenance repair shop
- Determine car requirements and coordinate the efficient movement of production and engineering.
- Coordinate information and activities with other team members
- May coordinate or exchange information with third parties, vendors, or customers.
- Develop and conduct reports, manage meetings, and support the railcar maintenance.
- Collaborate with Lean and Continuous Improvement teams at plants during Kaizen events or Value Stream mapping activities.
- Collect, compile, and present railcar maintenance progress and status report daily, or as requested.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with one year experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- 5 years of manufacturing experience, preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills
- Ability to work with many levels within the organization
