TNAA Total Med Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Cartersville, Georgia.

Responsibilities
  • Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients providing reassurance and support as required.
  • Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedure performance.
  • Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions.
  • Position patients for MRI scans using immobilization and protective equipment to comply with government regulations and to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
  • Assist radiologist with procedure performance.
  • Start I.V.s, administer contrast media as directed and per protocol.
  • Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality, collate processed images and sequence of exposure and label appropriately.
  • Load and operate power injectors for contrast media administration.
  • Follow safety procedures when working with radiation.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
Qualifications
  • Must have 1 year of experience.
  • Must have BLS, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT National Certification with registration in magnetic resonance imaging, and state‑specific licensing when required.
  • MRI Techs should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty.
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Total Med Allied Job . Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
