Practice Supervisor, Family Medicine / Primary Care – Cartersville
Atrium Health Floyd is hiring a full‑time Practice Supervisor to lead the Family Medicine practice located at 150 Gentilly Blvd, Cartersville. The position requires 40 hours per week and offers pay of $37.50–$56.25 per hour.
Job SummaryThe Practice Supervisor manages day‑to‑day operations, ensuring the practice runs efficiently and in line with Atrium Health’s mission. Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing billing and coding, maintaining quality standards, and enhancing patient experience.
Responsibilities- Lead front and back‑office staff, fostering teamwork and professional development.
- Oversee billing, coding (CPT, ICD‑10, HCPCS), and revenue‑cycle processes to ensure accuracy and timely reimbursement.
- Monitor patient satisfaction scores and implement improvements.
- Manage cash control procedures and internal accounting.
- Ensure proper maintenance of office equipment and cleanliness.
- Handle purchasing and procurement for the practice.
- Organize meetings, educational sessions, and marketing initiatives for the practice.
- Maintain accurate monthly performance metrics and standard work procedures.
- Participate in committees, training, and professional development activities.
- Address any operational issues and support organizational change initiatives.
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational and motivational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance.
- Knowledge of modern office procedures and office equipment.
- Ability to summarize financial and statistical information for staff review.
- CPT and ICD knowledge preferred.
