Schedule:

Tuesday – Friday, 9:00 pm – 7:30 am.

Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.

• Provide patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy and pathology.
• Provide patient care to all age groups including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
• Communicate effectively with staff and radiologists.

• Graduate of an AMA‑approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT‑accredited hospital‑based training program (Required)
  or equivalent experience in lieu of certificate per Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) (Required).

• No experience required (Required)
• 1 year of experience (Preferred)

• BCLS – Basic Life Support (Required)
• ARDMS – Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Must become registered within (6) months of employment). (Required)
• Vascular Sonographers must become registered and/or achieve RVT, RVS, RT(S), RT(VS) within (6) months of employment. (Required)
• (BR) ARDMS or ARRT – Breast Sonography – Breast Licensure requirement for Breast Ultrasound can be met with registration through ARRT (BS). (Required)
• RVT – Registered Vascular Technologist (Preferred)
• RVS – Registered Vascular Sonographer (Preferred)
