ResponsibilitiesHours:
Friday–Sunday 07:00 am–07:30 pm. Some calls and holidays required.
- Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.
- Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment.
- Demonstrates knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy and pathology.
- Provides patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
- Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.
Minimum
Education Required:
Graduate of an AMA‑approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT‑accredited hospital‑based training program.
Minimum Experience
Required:
Two (2) years of experience.
Minimum Licensure/Certification Required By Law: ARDMS registration in at least 2 specialties.
Additional Qualifications: BLS certified. Registered ARDMS and/or RVS/RVT (Registered Vascular Specialist) is preferred.
