Overview

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst in Cartersville, GA. In this high-impact and growth-focused role, you will be responsible for leading month-end close processes, delivering key financial insights, and supporting cross-functional operations to drive business performance. Responsibilities
  • Leading monthly financial close processes (excluding inventory).
  • Preparing and posting journal entries (accruals, revenue, payroll, fixed assets, etc.).
  • Performing balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
  • Analyzing revenue trends and KPIs across products, channels, and customers.
  • Partnering with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service to improve processes.
  • Supporting audits and assisting with forecasting and budgeting.
  • Driving process improvements and supporting system enhancements.
What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA a plus).
  • 2+ years of relevant experience (manufacturing or distribution environment preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and core accounting principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems like Dynamics 365, Great Plains, or Syspro is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and deliver accurate reporting.

  • Work schedule:

    Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
