Description

Monitors and verifies that all products sent to Manufacturing are recorded correctly in the system and checks quantities. Executes physical counts and bin checks to ensure stocked items are in the right location, and oversees inventory and distribution of labels from the stock cages.

Responsibilities
  • Receives items from warehouse and verifies, prior to dispatch to manufacturing, that all items, lot numbers, and quantities match the system.
  • Ensures stocked items are organized and readily accessible.
  • Performs cycle counts to address issues quickly and maintains a consistent inventory flow.
  • Maintains and supplies manufacturing with the labels they need.
  • Receives returned items from manufacturing, verifies them before returning them to the warehouse.
  • Compares physical inventory against warehouse records, investigates discrepancies, notifies necessary adjustments, and processes expiration date changes when releasing items to manufacturing.
  • Ensures the warehouse stocking area is clean and compliant with safety rules.
  • Determines storage procedures and inventory control methods in guidance from the Inventory Control Manager.
  • Ensures all returned items are properly tagged with the return barcode label and each case carries its own label.
  • Examines inventory items for defects or damage and reports findings to the Inventory Control Manager.
  • Maintains records of damaged stock and damaged warehouse materials.
  • Inspects the work environment for safety and complies with BRC guidelines.
  • Manages exposure to wet, humid conditions, fumes, vibration, and moderate to high noise.
  • Handles potential exposure to peanuts and tree nuts in products.
Work Environment
  • Production/Manufacturing warehouse setting.
  • Regularly works near moving machinery and mechanical parts, sometimes in high places.
  • Must be able to work under BRC guidelines.
  • Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, ambient air, temperature extremes, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration.
  • Noise levels are usually moderate, occasionally high.
  • Products manufactured may contain peanuts and tree nuts.
Requirements
  • RF scan system knowledge.
  • Experience with reach and hi-lows equipment (optional).
  • Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO system.
  • Ability to work off pick lists and system-driven reports.
  • Extremely organized with multitasking ability.
  • Strong communication skills; verbal and written. Bilingual Spanish required.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate efficiently.
  • Self‑motivated, confident, energetic, and capable of working under pressure.
  • Detail‑oriented with excellent mathematical acumen.
  • Sound understanding and application of safety rules and regulations.
  • Ability to use warehouse equipment such as rolling ladders, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong ability to apply general mathematical concepts.
Physical Requirements
  • Regularly stand and walk during the production shift; also talk, hear, taste, and smell.
  • Frequently sit; climb; balance; stoop; kneel or crouch.
  • Use hands and fingers to handle or operate objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
  • Vision requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustment.
Experience / Qualifications
  • High School Diploma and one (1) year experience in a computer‑aided warehousing operation, or equivalent educational/experience including one (1) year using a forklift, reach truck, order picker, and scissor lift.
  • Two years minimum experience with RF scanning systems.
  • Two years minimum experience with WMS.
