- As a Part Time Individual Support Worker, you will assist behavioral therapists to create effective behavioral therapy programs tailored to children and adolescents.
- Implement individualized service plans.
- Provide behavioral interventions in home and community settings.
- Monitor and manage youth with behavioral challenges to ensure a safe and supportive environment; develop and initiate safety standards; teach positive behavioral practices.
- Monitor and document observations of youth behavior; modify daily activities to align with therapeutic goals.
- Develop and implement engaging recreational activities to support emotional and social growth; maintain a clean and secure environment.
- College degree with one year of work experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with three years of supervised experience in implementing positive behavior support plans and teaching ADL/Instrumental skills to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships with children and families.
- Ability to work independently while following established protocols and guidelines for successful implementation of behavioral therapy programs.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children and adolescents; commitment to ongoing professional development; prior experience in behavioral interventions is valued.
