Title:

Warehouse Operators. Primary duties include coordinating shipments, processing orders, and ensuring timely delivery and accuracy of transactions for clients.

• Create, coordinate and complete shipments of goods between company and clients.
• Coordinate with off-site logistics locations, suppliers and vendors to meet deadlines and track all shipments.
• Process orders and ensure shipment schedules are met.
• Develop and maintain operational reports and complete shipments between company and clients.
• Act as a point of contact for customer service as needed.
• Ensure completion, accuracy and delivery of transactions for clients; dispatch requests to transportation providers as required.
• Perform daily activities for an assigned shift or area; follow warehouse work instructions for receiving, labeling, storing, shipping and value add services in accordance with DSV policies.
• Unload inbound shipments safely; stage, stack and load merchandise; move products to correct destinations.
• Move product from staging/unloading to the correct load door and trailer; secure trailers prior to transit.
• Load/unload products using appropriate handling techniques; segregate, check and stage inbound product.
• Verify driver, trailer and bills for specific carrier and location; count freight with driver and ensure required paperwork is completed; load trailer for safe transit.
• Perform forklift activities as required; label, sort, wrap, pack and repack; maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Maintain an organized desk/office area and perform other duties as assigned.

• Must have forklift experience.

• Mathematical skills: basic level required to verify inventory, order accuracy and quality initiatives.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision; detail oriented and organized; manage multiple priorities.
• Effective interpersonal skills and ability to communicate orally and in writing.
• High level of customer service skills.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in customer service and logistics (will consider an equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
• Material Handling Certification
• Dangerous Goods Qualification
• Forklift Operation and Certification
• Some experience with Warehouse Management Systems

• English preferred (reading, writing and verbal).
• Proficiency in basic MS Office applications.

• Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, reach, and climb; can lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must be able to operate material handling equipment and stand for extended periods.
• Working conditions are typical for a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.

For this position, the expected base pay is: $17.00 - $22.75 / Hourly. Actual base compensation will be determined based on job-related knowledge, location, skills, and experience.
