Position SummaryCustomer Service Representative is responsible for achieving division business objectives while meeting customer performance expectations and managing designated customer accounts. The role interprets customer requests, investigates complaints, and clearly articulates the voice of the customers to team leads and various departments to achieve a premier customer experience.
Responsibilities- Interact daily with customers, production, logistics, and inside sales teams to effectively meet Parker’s customer experience.
- Respond to and resolve customer inquiries, including order status, order entry, account status, and sales promotions via phone or Salesforce.
- Process all customer orders received via EDI, PH Connect, Phone, Fax, and/or Email through the order entry system (MSSV) efficiently and error‑free.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing and Planning teams to ensure lead times and min/max quantities of each order are acceptable for both parties.
- Coordinate with relevant functions on technical and/or quality issues, data requirements, and other business as applicable.
- Check stock, provide availability dates and/or freight quotes upon customer request.
- Provide quotes using Siebel or Price Book.
- Participate in training sessions, meetings, skill building, and professional development classes.
- Maintain small to medium accounts with low‑medium complexity.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Other duties or cross‑functional responsibilities as required.
- 2 years of customer experience.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional departments including pricing, sales, administration, logistics, finance, quality, marketing, distribution, and territory managers.
This position is subject to meeting U.S. export compliance and/or U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements.
Compensation and Benefits- Pay Range: $24.73/hr to $41.22/hr
- Participation in Annual Incentive Program
