The Job You Will Perform:

* Safely operate a sit-down powered industrial truck (PIT).

* Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments, and prepare items for shipment

* Load and unload trailers

* Complete pre-start PIT maintenance inspection report

* Follow proper trailer loading and unloading lock-out/tag-out procedure

* Complete receiving report to accurately record materials received

* Submit receiving reports after trailer is unloaded

* Complete load sheet to accurately record the grades, bale count, loading start/stop times for finished goods on outbound shipments

* Complete and submit load sheet at completion of shipment

* Understand and follow load pattern according to trailer and/or railcar

* Follow all safety rules and practices at all times

* Perform other duties as assigned by supervision

The Skills You Will Bring:

* Minimum of 1-2 years Forklift (PIT) experience

* Previous industrial manufacturing or corrugated industry is preferred but not required

* Be able to multitask in a very fast-paced environment

* Be computer literate and able to read, write, and speak English

* Effectively use radio and scanning equipment while arranging the transportation of products

* The ability to learn, follow instructions, communicate, and work efficiently in a team orientated environment

* Must be able to work available shifts, weekends, overtime, and holidays is necessary.
