In the role of Assembler II - Specialty you ll play a pivotal part on our production team. This position requires performing routine and repetitive electronic assembly operations and processes for aircraft parts in a manual manufacturing assembly line environment.

• Assembles and solder electronic printed circuit boards, small mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies.
• Uses basic electronic assembly tools, instruments and equipment daily in the production of printed circuit boards and assemblies.
• Uses standard electronic assembly hand tools, common power tools and continuity test equipment such as ohmmeters.
• Prepares wires for assembly by measuring, cutting, stripping, tinning and attaching contacts, lugs and other terminal type devices using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools and soldering equipment.
• Applies and handles conformal coatings, sealants and adhesives.
• Performs less complex acceptance test procedures utilizing specific test equipment.
• Works in a team environment participating in continuous improvement activities.
• Keeps assigned work area organized and clean and performs other duties as assigned.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in soldering small wires, parts and components.
• Proficiency with computers and with all basic hand tools, ohmmeters and basic power tools.
• Proficiency with soldering and de-soldering equipment.
• Experience and training with IPC-J-STD-001 (Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies).
• Experience and training with IPC-A-610 (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies).
• Experience and training with IPC-A-620 (Requirements & Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies).
• Ability to understand and interpret electrical schematics.
• Ability to deal with standard tolerances (allowances, limits and fits) and perform advanced math calculations.
• Complete knowledge of related aircraft hardware as it relates to rivets, screws and bolts (NAS, MS, An, etc.).
• Minimum of 3 years' work experience in a production environment or equivalent business environment.
