Job DescriptionThe mission of the DMIR is to ensure that materials, components, and assemblies meet conformance to specifications and that production products and related parts are in condition for safe operation. This role is pivotal within the Quality team, conducting inspections and maintaining documentation to support safe aircraft manufacturing.
Responsibilities- Inspect materials, components, and assemblies to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Read blueprints and engineering specifications to obtain product information such as bills of material, process specifications, dimensions, and finish.
- Apply industry and regulatory requirements, interpreting and applying logic ruling of product to support Production Approval.
- Maintain a basic understanding of contractual requirements, product and process improvement, and material traceability.
- Reconcile multiple data sets to establish compliance and traceability, recording results accurately and legibly.
- Maintain part record files, MRB bond log, serial number logs, and other documentation in accordance with procedures.
- Perform shipping inspections, comparing product conformance, shipping documentation, and certification to customer purchase order or contract.
- Report any questionable items that fail to meet customer requirements to supervision.
- Maintain a clean work area and report safety concerns to supervision.
- Apply basic shop math to calculate product tolerances and deviations accurately.

Salary: $27.30/hr USD
Candidate Skills & RequirementsThe desired candidate will have already held the DMIR classification, successfully passed the examination, and receive FAA certification within 60 days of employment. Additionally, the candidate will exhibit the following characteristics:

The desired candidate will also have previously obtained DMIR certification and have held a current or prior certification as an Airman or at minimum an Airframe certification.
