Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles in accordance with current technical data, manufacturer instructions, Service Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, and FAA‑approved processes.
  • Conduct preliminary, hidden‑damage, in‑process and final inspections on aircraft components.
  • Provide verbal and written status updates on repair progress.
  • Apply and handle sealants and adhesives.
  • Perform complex acceptance test procedures using specific test equipment.
  • Maintain organized and clean assigned areas in accordance with required standards such as 5S.
  • Read and comprehend written process specification documents.
  • Participate in and support regular team meetings (e.g., QRQC, morning stand‑up).
  • Provide on‑the‑job training to Assemblers, Technicians and ATP Operators as directed.
  • Use ERP system for daily transactions (recording labor hours, closing operations).
  • Use Sentry File to access engineering documents (drawings, ATP, ATR).
  • Use work‑instruction software (e.g., Pro Works).
  • Read and comprehend schematics and work instructions.
  • Perform work safely in accordance with Environment, Health & Safety requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement activities (shadow board tools, re‑layout of area).
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools, tooling and equipment as directed.
  • Support other operations areas as needed under Supervisor/Manager direction.
Qualifications
  • Basic math skills and ability to comprehend varying units of measure.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and take initiative.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to read, comprehend written and process specification documents.
  • Computer skills to access CMMs, drawings and related documents.
