DSV Air & Sea Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee day‑to‑day warehouse activities, including staff scheduling, inventory control and productivity. The role is full‑time and based in Carson, CA.

The Warehouse Operations Manager coordinates with the Warehouse Manager to manage staff, implement policies, ensure safety compliance, and meet operational goals. Responsibilities include scheduling, daily warehouse operations, labor management, equipment maintenance, and collaboration across departments.

• Coordinate with Warehouse Manager to schedule personnel for shipping, receiving, sanitation, maintenance, and inventory control.
• Manage daily operations to maintain productivity and meet budget requirements.
• Oversee performance metrics such as scratch rates, stockouts, receiving and selection errors, and product slotting.
• Maintain equipment through preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Coordinate safety programs in compliance with OSHA and other regulations.
• Provide a clean, safe work environment and foster team collaboration.
• Maintain communication with other departments via phone, email and web conferencing.
• Develop metrics and data‑driven approaches to optimize operational performance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse and organizational goals.

• Recruit, train, evaluate, and plan succession for warehouse personnel.
• Coaching and support to keep staff motivated and productive.
• Train new employees on systems and procedures.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation and logistics management with supervisory responsibilities.

• Experience in freight forwarding or related fields.
• Ground handling experience in the airline or gateway sector.

• Fluent in English (oral and written).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems is a plus.

Base pay ranges from US $78,000 – $117,500 annually
