Industrial Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Industrial Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Carson, CA
. Ideally looking for applicants with 0-3 years of Experience in manufacturing line set-up and Experience with airworthiness regulations would be a big plus.

Rate Range: $30/hour to $35/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job Location:
Carson, CA (Onsite)

Job Duration: 06 months contract

• Provide Industrial Engineering support and coordination during the development of aircraft interior components
• Create the production element of the industrial dossier, mainly Manufacturing Bill of Materials, Routers, Standardized work instructions (including operation’s allocated time)
• Work with the Design and Manufacturing teams to develop optimal production processes for each product type
• Provide feedback to Design group for DFMA (design for manufacture and assembly)
• Develop and execute Industrialization plans in accordance with Cabin standards and program goals

• BS in Industrial, Aeronautical, Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
• Experience:
  
  0-3 years.
• Experience with airworthiness regulations desired
• Basic Knowledge of Primary processes like CNC machining, Layup and Crush Core.
• Ability to work well independently and cross-functionally.
