In the role of Product Support Engineer 1, you'll play a pivotal part on our Engineering team. The Product Support Engineer 1 answers customer's daily technical queries on products operation and maintenance. Provides customer on-site technical support/services as required such as On A/C Troubleshooting Presentation to Customers on products technical in-service experience.
Responsibilities- Answer customer's daily technical queries on products operation and maintenance.
- Provide customer on-site technical support/services as required such as On A/C troubleshooting and present to customers on products technical in-service experience.
- Follow up and enforce in-service technical issues resolution.
- Investigate with OEM Engineering/Sustaining/Quality on technical issues reported by customers.
- Perform necessary products examination.
- Lead or participate in Root Cause Analysis.
- Lead and participate in technical issue resolution with OEM Engineering/Sustaining/Quality.
- Provide 24/7 technical hotline limited to Airframers when required by applicable contract.
- Report to OEM any major incident/accident occurred with our products during operation & maintenance.
- Provide training to customers with help of Repair Stations or OEM as necessary.
- Provide necessary technical support to the internal team.
- Bachelor Aerospace Engineering (preferred), Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Ability to work several issues in parallel.
- Ability to work in team.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Ability to read and analyze engineering drawings and specifications, including electrical and mechanical.
- Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations and mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
- Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
- Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.,) in its most difficult phases.
- Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
