Production Logistics Planner

Overview

Akkodis is seeking a Production Logistics Planner for a Contract job with a client in Carson CA
. Ideally looking for applicants with solid experience in Logistics, supply chain and experience with Aerospace background would be a big plus.

Rate Range: $23/hour to $24/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job

Responsibilities include:

• Read, interpret, and create level Bill of Material.
• Evaluates shortages and manages prompt solutions keeping appropriate stakeholders informed of any potential problem as required.
• Analyzes demand and plans supply in accordance, ensures efficient and quality execution of requirements and purchasing action messages, manages supplier delivery, quality, and cost performance and improvement.
• Ensures material flow and production activity are aligned.
• Reads and reviews engineering drawings and documentation and coordinate any changes.
• Supports testing and certification requirements for new programs.
• Confirm accuracy of pertinent data in the company ERP system.

Desired

Qualifications:

• Planning, logistics certification
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Previous supply chain/logistics experience.
• MRP system experience.
• Ability to read and analyze engineering prints.
