$15.00/hr – $17.50/hr

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on the assigned cash register, providing courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Model and share customer service best practices with all team members, including interpersonal habits (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy) and Walgreens service traits (e.g., offering help proactively, identifying needs, servicing until satisfied).
• Recommend items for sale to customers and suggest trade‑up or companion items.
• Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed, and collect cash and distribute change.
• Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, maintain records, check in and price merchandise as directed.
• Implement company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco).
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, superstructures, and sale merchandise, and complete resets and revisions as directed.
• Assist with the separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre‑cooked) and product placement as specified by policy, using first‑in, first‑out methods for consumables.
• Have working knowledge of store systems and store equipment.
• Provide customer service in the photo area (digital passport photo services, poster print, creative machine, suggestive selling of promotional photo products).
• Assume web pickup responsibilities: monitor orders in Picture Care Plus, pick items, and deliver orders to customers as they arrive at the store.
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure a clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate.

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

• Preferably six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer experience working with Walgreens.
