• Retail experience is preferred but not necessary

• Bag groceries at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag while ensuring items are not damaged.
• Follow best practices for bagging items in various bag types (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assist customers in removing merchandise from bascarts for checkout and offer help with loading bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning, inform customers of grocery specials, and return merchandise to store shelves.
• Gather bascarts and return them to designated areas.
• Clean spills, collect and pick up trash inside the store and parking lot, and maintain all areas inside and outside the store.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise and understand the store’s layout to locate products and conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and notifying management of any unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines, practice preventive maintenance, and report equipment repairs needed.
• Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated by answering questions about products.
• Adhere to all local, state and federal laws and company guidelines.
• Work cooperatively in a high‑paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational, and cooperative manner.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
