All about On Demand:
You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand Team Member (TM) and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those looking for a personalized work schedule. You will not be included on the posted weekly schedule but can pick up shifts via the myTime mobile scheduling app.

Reliable and prompt attendance is necessary. You must respond to contacts to confirm interest in working shifts. If you do not respond or work at least one shift within 5 months, employment may be terminated. You will be required to attend a Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term structured training schedule.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve specific needs and provide knowledge about tools, products, and services in the store.
• Scan and bag items efficiently and in compliance with company standards, including knowledge of food safety.
• Work to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Inform guests about current and upcoming brand launches, store activities, and events.
• Promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment; be familiar with all fulfillment services and how to direct guests to enroll, activate, and use them.
• Explain and demonstrate Target Wallet and other features within the Target App.
• Handle returns following store policies and escalate to leaders when needed.
• De-escalate situations and recover the guest shopping experience in accordance with Target policies.
• Provide easy and accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies during store hours.
• Support guest services such as order pickup, drive-up orders, and related duties while complying with safety and legal requirements.
• Assist with Cash Office processes as needed, including cash systems management.
• Perform other duties based on business needs.

• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology; work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to store policies and safety procedures.
• Physical ability to handle cash operations and lift up to 44 pounds as needed (with or without assistance).
