Overview

Position Title:

Bartender Part-Time

Wage: $12.00 per hour plus tips

Tips are calculated pursuant to the rates listed upon the Company's GITCA agreement approved by the IRS

• Serve drinks and food items while maintaining excellent customer service skills.
• Receive and input drink orders into the Point-of-Sale station for guests at the bar and throughout the Casino floor.
• Maintain a friendly and positive bar environment and seek assistance from security in the event of unruly or irate guests.
• Participate in the selling of snack bar items, when applicable, when offering alcoholic beverage options to guests.
• Follow and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal alcohol consumption regulations.
• Check I.D. for customers that look under 40 years of age.
• Routinely make a fresh pot of coffee as needed/applicable dependent on the time of day and current business needs.
• Accurately maintain a bank of $700.00 without variance.
• Manage and operate a Point-of-Sale station regularly.
• Continuously stock bar items, such as beer glasses, beer, and other supplies.
• Clean, stock, and prepare garnish tray with appropriate garnishments.
• Routinely clean and wipe down the bar and bottles of liqueur as needed.
• Keep storeroom and bar organized to ensure peak performance.
• Witness and assist with Jackpot Payouts as needed/applicable (Gaming Card Required).
• Ensure food and beverage safety by following proper hand hygiene and other food and beverage safety guidelines, including those issued by the local Health Department.
• Perform other duties as requested by management, the Manager on Duty, and/or the Food and Beverage Supervisor.
• The above functions are essential duties as required to be performed by team members within this classification. The list above does not constitute an exhaustive list of all duties that may be performed.

This position is considered a gaming position and requires all team members to possess a valid Gaming Registration Card issued by the Nevada Gaming Commission and Control Board prior to the established hire date or transfer date.

This position also requires a valid Alcohol Awareness certification within 2 months of hire, and continuously thereafter.
