Summary

* The Charge Nurse directly supervises staff and is a clinical expert practitioner specific to the unit and/or initiative. This position includes both direct and indirect patient care in combination with education/staff development functions as well as designated management functions to promote high quality, cost effective health care.

Qualifications

Required:

Current and unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) through the Nevada State Board of Nursing.

Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (BLS) for Healthcare Providers required

A minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing in an acute care facility.

A current certification in specialty field

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) after 1/1/2021
