Responsible to assist Director in leadership, coordination and supervision of the specified unit(s). Primary duties include functional responsibility on a day to day basis. The Nurse Manager has financial accountability and, in collaboration with the Director, has the authority to hire and discipline. Will coordinate the activities of the charge nurses, nursing staff and support staff. The Nurse Manager will plan, direct and evaluate total nursing care.

Practices within the scope prescribed by the Nevada Nurse Practice Act.

• Registered Nurse with an unrestricted licensure in the State of Nevada
• Five (5) years experience as an acute care nurse and four (4) years in a progressive leadership role
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
• Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or related field
• Nationally recognized Certification related to your specialty
