Financial Manager, Corporate Finance
Role Purpose
The Senior Manager, Finance serves as a strategic thought partner to functional and business leaders, delivering financial insight, decision support, and performance management across the enterprise. This role leads key planning, forecasting, and analytical processes, ensuring financial transparency, driving profitability, and enabling data‑driven decision‑making. The position supports cross‑functional teams such as Supply Chain, Brand, Commercial, FP&A, and Operations, acting as a trusted advisor in shaping and executing business strategy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance management for assigned functions, business units, or categories.
- Develop, analyze, and maintain P&Ls, cost structures, and key financial models to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Serve as the primary finance partner to leaders across Commercial, Supply Chain, Brand, Operations or Corporate teams—translating business strategies into quantifiable financial outcomes.
- Provide actionable insights through variance analysis, scenario modeling, ROI assessments, and margin improvement initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting, analytics, and financial processes through enhanced systems, standardization, and automation.
- Evaluate business cases for strategic projects, capital investments, innovation, productivity, sourcing, and pricing decisions.
- Develop financial dashboards, KPIs, and storytelling materials for senior leadership presentations.
- Identify risks and opportunities, partnering with cross‑functional leaders to develop mitigation and acceleration plans.
- Lead, coach, and develop analysts or junior team members, fostering a high‑performance and growth‑oriented culture.
- Champion cross‑functional collaboration; build strong partnerships across Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial, R&D, Operations, and other corporate functions.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience- Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, Supply Chain Finance, Commercial/Brand Finance, or Corporate Finance within a CPG or manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience supporting cross‑functional teams and influencing senior leaders.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects or people.
- Preferred:
- MBA or CPA.
- Experience with JD Edwards, Hyperion Essbase, Business Objects, trade systems, and/or supply chain planning tools.
- Familiarity with syndicated, operational, or manufacturing data sources (e.g., IRI, Nielsen, SPINS, SAP, OPEX systems).
- Strategic mindset with the ability to connect financial insights to broader business objectives.
- Strong business acumen across commercial, supply chain, operations, and brand functions.
- Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical capabilities.
- Executive‑level communication and ability to simplify complex data into clear insights.
- Strong influencing skills and ability to challenge and guide stakeholders constructively.
- Ability to lead teams and develop talent.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and enterprise financial systems.
Financial/Budgetary Responsibility :
Oversees financial planning and analysis for customer portfolios totaling $700M+.
Team Size:
May lead 1–3 direct reports (analysts or managers), with broader cross‑functional influence.
- Travel Requirements : 10%–15% travel required as necessary.

Predominantly remote, with some flexibility for office presence when needed.
