Senior Network Specialist

• Lead the design of outside plant (OSP) projects across multiple locations, creating cost estimates and reviewing network data
• Utilize GIS tools to design network builds and collaborate with other engineering associates
• Conduct audits of OSP projects for compliance with National Electrical Code standards and employer policies
• Manage project documentation and oversee contractor invoicing for accuracy
• Provide training and support to team members on GIS functions and tools

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher)
  -OR- 4+ years of professional work experience
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in voice, data, or video networking
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS, AGOL, or other GIS tools
• Knowledge of telecommunications principles and project management experience

• Experience in OSP construction and/or engineering, or related utility/municipal construction
• Familiarity with Fiber to the Home (FTTH) design and construction techniques
• Ability to read and understand FTTH construction prints
• Experience leading diverse teams and resolving complex issues
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively
