Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to provide specialized psychological services within school settings, with travel to various locations across Carson City, NV. This role supports students' academic, social, and emotional development by implementing effective assessment and intervention strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify students' needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop individualized support plans
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention to students as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with confidentiality regulations
- Travel to multiple schools within the Carson City area to deliver services efficiently
Qualifications:
- Valid school psychologist credential or license
- Experience conducting psycho educational assessments and providing counseling in school settings
- Strong understanding of Special Education laws and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school personnel
- Ability to manage a caseload independently and travel between school sites within the region
