• Educate YSP students and their families about college admissions processes and requirements
• Meet regularly with students to develop personalized academic plans and provide guidance
• Research and implement workshops and curriculum to prepare students for college and careers
• Oversee recruitment efforts and coordinate visits to promote the Young Scholars Program
• Maintain thorough documentation and communication with students and families regarding academic progress

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of two years of relevant work experience
• Strong knowledge of effective practices for engaging students in metropolitan communities
• Ability to establish professional relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Successful completion of Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) and Federal Bureau of Investigation background checks

• 2-4 years of direct experience working with low-income students in secondary or post-secondary settings
• Demonstrated success in promoting college readiness among students in large public school districts
• Familiarity with current issues and trends affecting pre-K-12 city schools
• Experience in drafting proposals for funding agencies or educational initiatives
