Company/Location Overview Job OverviewThe Loss Prevention Guard serves as the first point of contact for all visitors entering the facility. This role is responsible for controlling and monitoring all access to and egress from the plant, including employees, contractors, visitors, and commercial vehicles, in accordance with company policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
The Security Office functions as the central communications hub for the facility and operates as the control center for emergency response personnel and vehicles during crisis situations. This position plays a critical role in safeguarding company assets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Job Description /Responsibilities Inventory ControlConduct daily cycle counts and assist with complete Physical Inventory (PI)
Ensure production component inventory accuracy
Investigate and resolve root causes of inventory variances
Maintain accurate inventory records in WMS and ERP systems
Monitor inventory levels against Sys
21 min/max thresholdsIdentify and report excess inventory and inventory below minimum levels
Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce inventory discrepancies
Process and monitor internal Transfer Orders (TOs)
Support material flow management using ABCD classification principles
Ensure system transactions align with physical inventory movements
Coordinate inventory movements between storage locations, production, and shipping
Reconcile inventory between internal systems and 3PL partners
Investigate discrepancies and communicate corrective actions
Maintain accurate reporting and documentation with external logistics providers
Support shipping and compliance requirements related to external warehouses
Ensure efficient check‑in and check‑out of trucks shipping finished goods
Coordinate trailer assignments and outbound shipment scheduling
Prepare and review shipping documentation
Communicate with internal and external drivers to coordinate loading
Address shipping discrepancies and ensure shipping accuracy
Support Shipped In Full and Shipped On Time performance targets
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Inventory reconciliation and variance analysis experience
Process management and continuous improvement mindset (TQM / Six Sigma exposure preferred)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
High level of integrity and accountability
2+ years of inventory control, warehouse coordination, or logistics experience preferred
Experience managing transfer orders and material flow strongly preferred
Experience working with 3PL inventory reconciliation preferred
Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, lookup functions)
Ability to work cross‑functionally with operations and transportation teams
