Job Summary

The Product Support Representative (PSR) is responsible for driving revenue growth across four core areas: parts, service and rentals. This role involves proactive customer engagement, relationship management, and solution-based selling to ensure customer satisfaction while meeting company sales targets. The PSR is a key customer-facing representative who ensures HTX Material Handling remains the preferred partner for material handling solutions in the region.

Key Responsibilities Parts Sales
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of OEM and aftermarket parts.
  • Promote and sell parts solutions to existing and prospective customers.
  • Provide accurate quotes, process orders, and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
  • Track inventory and coordinate with the parts department for restocking needs.
Service Sales
  • Generate leads and sell maintenance contracts, repairs, and inspection services.
  • Educate customers on planned maintenance programs and benefits of proper equipment upkeep.
  • Work closely with the service department to coordinate scheduling and ensure service delivery aligns with customer expectations.
  • Follow up on service satisfaction and identify future service needs.
Rental Sales
  • Sell short- and long-term rental solutions for material handling equipment.
  • Understand rental fleet availability and match customers with the right equipment based on operational needs.
  • Assist in rental agreements, pricing, and delivery coordination.
  • Support fleet utilization goals and work to minimize equipment downtime.
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the material handling or industrial equipment sector.
  • Strong knowledge of forklifts, industrial equipment, or related mechanical systems preferred.
  • Proven ability to generate leads, manage a pipeline, and close deals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (local travel required).
