Overview

Position Title: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Pay Rate: $33.77/hr (+ shift differential)

Sign-on Bonus: $1000 after 30 days, $500 after 6 months, $500 after 1 year of continuous employment (Total: $2000)

Category/Shift: Hourly Full-Time 24/7 rotating schedule with 12 hour shifts (2 on 2 off 3 on 2 off 2 on 3 off) – every other weekend off 7 PM – 7 AM

Carrollton North (Beltline) Container, 2605 E Belt Line Rd, Carrollton, TX 75006

• Maintain production equipment in a fast-paced work environment
• Follow all safety rules and practices (LOTO)
• Perform preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components; and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels
• Able to read prints, mechanical and electrical drawings
• Perform emergency / break down maintenance as necessary to support plant operations
• Accurately use measurement and test equipment
• Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations as needed
• Diagnose and repair/replace faulty electronic components such as printed circuit boards
• Safely and efficiently troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems that include hydraulic, pneumatic, power transmission, and conveyor systems
• Use basic hand tools, power tools, electrical testing equipment and computers
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, and cleanup work areas upon completion of tasks
• Be available to work all scheduled shifts on a 3-2-2-3 schedule. Overtime available to cover call-ins and vacations
• Other duties as required

• Experience in a corrugated facility is preferred; highly preferred manufacturing maintenance experience
• Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is preferred
• Associates Degree and/or Technical Degree preferred
• Safely lift/move up to 75 pounds during regular work shift
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Consent to a background check and pre-employment physical / drug screen
• Must have a positive attitude with a willingness to learn new things, receive and follow instructions
