Production Operator

Job Summary

Control or operate machinery or equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line. May be expected to handle heavy machinery.

• Accurately and efficiently manufacture batches in the Reactions department.
• Measure, weigh, and record all required materials using equipment such as floor scales and flow meters.
• Correctly add materials into pressure kettles and mix tanks following established procedures.
• Operate pumps, tanks, scales, and other production equipment to complete batch processing.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary work areas, ensuring equipment is properly cleaned and in good working condition.
• Follow all safety guidelines, including wearing a full‑face respirator when handling designated materials.
• Collaborate effectively with team members in a fast‑paced environment.
• Support weekend production needs to fulfill customer orders when required.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and support continuous improvement efforts.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs without difficulty.
• Ability to accurately weigh and measure ingredients with various tools.
• Quick learner with a proactive mindset for improving processes.
• Capable of wearing a full‑face respirator when required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Computer literate with the ability to navigate multiple windows and transactions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Dependable, safety‑conscious, and detail‑oriented.

• Experience with SAP systems.
• Forklift training or certification.
• Previous experience in batch processing or chemical manufacturing.
