INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN (3RD SHIFT) - CARROLLTON, TX

Hours:

10 PM - 6 AM

The Electrician is responsible for performing basic electrical maintenance and repair tasks. This role supports the maintenance team in ensuring the reliability and safety of electrical systems and equipment.

• Perform routine electrical maintenance tasks, such as replacing fuses, bulbs, and wiring, under the guidance of senior electricians.
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues, such as short circuits, faulty wiring, and control panel malfunctions, using technical manuals and schematics.
• Support Preventative Maintenance Technicians in completing electrical PM tasks as needed.
• Conduct visual inspections of electrical systems to identify wear, damage, or potential hazards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols, GMP, and food safety regulations.
• Document maintenance activities, including work orders, parts used, and time spent, in the CMMS.
• Assist in the installation, setup, and testing of new electrical equipment.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistency and compliance.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in an electrical maintenance role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, tools, and equipment.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
