Research and Development Lab Technician

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m.

- 5:00 p.m.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and assemble bench-top samples according to formula instructions
• Package, label, and ship samples to customers and external partners
• Log samples, data, and records in electronic systems for project traceability
• Request, track, and organize documentation such as specification sheets, COAs, SDS, and allergen statements
• Help maintain a clean, safe lab environment and follow established cGMP/SOP procedures
• Assist in tracking lab inventory/material usage and communicate low-stock items
• Ensure lab equipment is clean and calibrated for accurate and consistent measurements
• Participate in sensory evaluations as needed
• Adequate knowledge of computer software;
  Excel, Word, Outlook
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Food Science or related field, preferred
• Familiarity with working in a laboratory setting
• Commitment to excellence and high standards
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

• Follow cGMP’s in all facility areas
• Occasionally required to lift items up to 50 pounds
• Occasionally work near production machinery
